For transfers of critical patients from hospital to hospital or hospital to home, Paramedics 911 utilises ICU equipped Ambulance vehicles.
Paramedics 911 patient transfer solutions are customised according to distance to be travelled and medical risk level. Our patient transfer medical services involve pre-planning with Hospital medical staff. Pre-planned inter-facility ambulance patient transport service is available up to Advanced Life Support level for both medical aid and non-medical aid patients.
Long distance inter hospital patient transfer to or from Johannesburg, Cape Town is pre-planned and carefully evaluated to ensure optimal care and best outcomes. Please note, patient transport from Hospital to home is offered at private rates or through Medical Aid provided patient Medical Scheme has authorized the Hospital to home transfer.
